As a result. They have an impact on the whole nation. However, the government is not recognizing the effort and importance of such groups due to their increase in number. In addition, this ideology qualifies to be a worldwide view because, the groups consist of a small number of individuals of different national origins. Therefore, a member of first nation would hold on to this view because they understand what it means to be a member of such groups. Also, a person who has no idea of the activities of the groups can find it difficult agreeing with the ideology because they have other things to think about. The larger an organization is, the easier it is for it to be recognized because the impact of their activities is felt by a lot of people. An example of the ways through which this opinion can be formed is by following Robert Baldwin’s ideology of the creation of a responsible government which would in turn recognize the groups. In addition, the national groups in Canada are in the midst of a large nation. Therefore, it is true that the failure of the government to recognize the groups will result in them losing their identity. The national groups have to seek authority from Canada. The government of Canada constitutes the main body that offers authority to such groups. As a result, in the case whereby the government does not recognize the groups, then they will have nowhere to seek authority from. This means that their operations will be limited hence leading to their extinction. Also, the individuals from such groups are adapting to the culture of the common citizen in Canada, and this means that most of the individuals are quitting as members of the national groups. Extend to which the ideology should be embraced The ideology that Canadian national groups are losing identity as a result of the government not recognizing them should be embraced across the world. It is a reflection of what is bound to happen to other national groups since they exist in almost all the nations. For such groups to survive, a lot of attention from the government is required.
