Al-Qaeda Assignment Author Name Institution After the death of Osama bin Laden, concerns about Islamic extremism remained widespread among Muslims from the Middle East to America and from Asia to Europe. In Pakistan, Indonesia, Jordan, Tunisia, and Turkey, Al-Qaeda emerged as a powerful network. The United States and other developed countries call it a terrorist group that has been involved in various attacks and always creates restlessness in the world. Significant techniques employed by this organization are suicide attacks, street crimes, simultaneous bombing and kidnaps. Both Taliban and Al-Qaeda have become stable terrorist organizations with time, causing issues for everyone in the world. Al-Qaeda believes that there is a clash of civilization and the cold war is needed (Al-Shishani, 2012). The world is entering a new phase, and politicians are losing their grip on the people. Today, non-Muslims give no respect and importance to Muslims living in their countries. Instead, they create a mess for them and often ask them to return homes. For Al-Qaeda, this clash of civilization is unacceptable, and the cold war is likely to begin. But how can they protect Muslims from being destroyed? I believe that this won’t be the solution to any problem, so they are better to sit with politicians, discuss their issues and get them resolved peacefully (Nance, 2010). Moderate Muslim is the label used within counterterrorism discourse as a complement of Islamic extremism. Al-Qaeda believes that today there is a lack of Moderate Muslims and their number has to be increased as soon as possible.
