According to Steger (2010), ever since the advent of the term “Globalization” it has been seen by many as a “process, a condition, a system, a force, and an age”. Perhaps, this is an inevitable phenomenon since defining what globalization exactly does and looks like is not as easy as it sounds. Nonetheless, Steger puts his emphasis on the concept as “a set of social processes that are thought to transform our present social condition into one of globality”. In other words the “thinning” of the boundaries in between people and communities living everywhere and anywhere in the world, in all aspects of life. However, this does not exclusively mean that globalization would not exist in cases where only a particular aspect of society is integrated with the rest of the world, whereas others are not.
