According to Shawn, inpatient care for adolescent suffering from drugs and substance is inevitable for managing the disorder. Inpatient care provides a stable and sober environment which protect the victims from relapse since the surrounding is a sober free environment (Connors et al., 2013). Moreover, the inpatient care is preferred since it provides a desired intensive group and individual therapy sessions. However, the final obligation for the in-patient is the major drawback of the care process. Besides, the adolescents may be denied the educational rights while attending the care process.

According to Johnny, the greatest benefits of treating adolescents within a controlled environment is detoxification. The therapy allows the victims to regain their conscious awareness. Johnny has convicted that inpatients isolate the adolescents from the environment usage. Most importantly, it enables the adolescent to engage in different activities (Passetti, Godley, & Kaminer, 2016). However, the greatest drawback of inpatient care process is releasing the victims into the same environment without coping skills. The environment can contribute to relapse into the behavior.

She portrays a suicide ideation and anorexic behavior. Based on these symptoms, Cami should be restricted to in-patient therapy (Sophia, Dziegielewski 2015). The in-patient therapy would provide Cami with an ideal surrounding detoxing. Similarly, the in-patient care would provide Cami with intensive group therapy sessions where the dietician would manage her anorexic condition while the skilled addiction counselor assesses her behavior.

According to Alfredo observation, Cami's treatment ought to be in stages which consist of outpatient care, family oriented therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational therapy and social skills.
