Abortion is an emotionally charged word. It is defined as the deliberate termination of pregnancy that mostly occurs during the first 28 weeks. Supporters of abortion argue that it allows women to have control over their bodies. The control is seen as some form of independence that enables them to choose when and whether to have children. Additionally, pro-abortion individuals present abortion as a solution to life-threatening conditions. As a result, it is okay for a woman to chose abortion if her life would be at risk if she continued with the pregnancy.
While some of the cons related to abortion are material, I am totally against abortion.
