Motivation is the act of providing incentives to other people to boost their attitude and performance in their tasks (Pramanik & Chatterjee, 2015). For instance, at a workforce organization, leaders should always motivate their employees for the benefit of the organization towards achieving its set goals. Several methods can be employed in motivating employees such as keeping employees updated, make decisions, recognizing awards, acknowledgment, and making clear goals and expectations. Again, leaders should portray teamwork by assisting employees when available and make suggestions that make the work easier. Motivation makes employees feel valued and appreciated in their organization and consequential effectiveness (Lekić, Vidas-Bubanja, & Bogetić, 2015). Employees in an organization can feel empowered by the leadership and can increase their loyalty and feel motivated for higher performance.
