The story then leads to the creation of man to inhabit the earth and the alteration of the gods’ plans by Marduk to maintain peace. The last section of the text is titled Rig Veda and contains hymns that detail the beliefs of the religion concerning different deities and myths. The psalms cover gods like Agni, Purusa, and the creation story and are labeled numerically.
