Hinduism is a primordial religion with no known date of origin or founder. Hinduism is a broad variety of religious philosophies and traditions developed over thousands of years in India. Most Hindus believe in rebirth, worship deities, observe festive holidays such as Holi and Diwali, and value meditation practice. Hinduism tradition is believed to have always existed and timeless (Simmons & Governors State University, 1999). This paper seeks to discuss the Hinduism religious experience.
Hinduism is a collection of sacred texts known wholly as Sanatana Dharma, meaning the external teaching. It is a complex tradition with numerous composite interrelated practices and doctrines of religion that have common features but without unified system of practices and beliefs (Narayanan, 2010).
