The job I have held and one that brings satisfaction to my heart is being a good mother to my two children. Many people complain about the responsibilities that come with motherhood. However, I find it satisfying, and the fact that I get to be with my children every day gives me joy. I will admit that it is challenging and at times I am at my lowest because this job is quite demanding. But, I always find comfort in seeing my children smile and knowing that I am not missing any moment I should be a part of.
What were your reasons for taking those jobs?
The main reason why I decided to raise my children and not consider other jobs was because I wanted to be a part of their lives. I believe that every adult can have children. Actually, having children is only a decision away. However, not everyone wants to be a part of the crying, tantrums and growing up (the hard part). But, in the midst of going through the hard part of raising children, there are moments like the first word, when they start crawling, when they start walking, when they laugh, etc. For me, these are moments I never want to miss. Also, I want to have a stronger bond with my children. They should not see me as a stranger but a friend who is there when they are smiling as well as crying.
