MATERIALISM
Relative to the two schools of thought, materialism is the most logical one and tends to capture the essence reality. There is a bias when it comes to the material world as opposed to the spiritual and intellectual concepts. This is not to say that the concept of the world from the materialist approach is not intelligent. Rather it is a more realistic one, were matter comes before the mind and reality as we know it ("Materialism", 2017) ("Materialism", 2017). This is to mean that, before there is a reality, there interaction of the matter. To perceive matter, it has to exist first before the mind can be involved. The mind and the word are two concepts that are separate from one another. In the idealism approach, the world only exists in the mind as a concept. This is rather an abstract concept relative to the fact that, for the mind to perceive the world, the world has to exist. The mind can only exists for it to be perceived by the mind. At the same time the world and the mind can each exist in a separate realm. This is to mean that, is possible for the world to exist without the mind having to perceive it. At the same time the mind can exists without the world. When matter interacts, it is when the mind then comes alive and perceives the result of the same.
Everything that appears on the world today is present as it appear in the material realm and is held together by the material terms and not some spiritual element. Every other element that holds the world into one is governed by the natural laws of physics. It is for this reason that we are able to study the world around us. It is not possible to understand the absolute truth about the material environment that we interact with relative to matter ("Materialism", 2017). This is relative to the complexity of matter in the different states. However, we are able to gain some significant truths and facts which we can play around with to our advantage. In the world of science matter is a concept that has helped us learn more about what were interact with in nature. At the same time, it is this information that we have been able to acquire that has played massive roles in innovations and developments (Heusdens, 2013). Absolute information on matter is not possible as is apparent from the information that exists on the different forms of matter. It is for this reason that new information keeps coming up as we better understand matte at a more intricate level (Heusdens, 2013). To acquire more information, more research is going to be crucial now and in the future as has been the norm. From the information that is gathered we are then able to develop theories that we can work with and achieve better understanding of the information gathered from the same. This is cyclic approach that helps in trying to understand the basic elements of the mater that we interact with and gainfully understand how different we can interact with the same.
