In fact, some people are willing to die for the sake of their religion, either in war like Muslims or persecution for Christians, among others. Religion also plays a great role in improving moral standards in a society, as it contains disciplines of what is right and wrong. There are various reasons of determining the usefulness of religion in the lives of human beings, both in the past and currently. All human beings are considered spiritual, which makes it hard for them to live without worship. There is a spiritual part of human beings that cannot be quenched by anything else but belief and worship of a deity or sovereign being. Moreover, man bears a spirit that cannot be fed or contented by the physical things, only the spiritual practice can fulfill the spirit. Regardless of criticism from atheists who disagree on it, religion has been able to stand the test of time and even some of the atheists became religious after plenty of evaluation. Many people around the globe have embraced some sort of religion and are even willing to take extra miles in abandoning their daily lives activities and prosperity to follow their religion.
