Abstract
The report primarily addresses how Aristotle and Plato's experiences differed when they handled common concepts, including social-political structures, understanding of body and soul, ideas and forms, and concepts of state creation. Aristotle’s arguments are mainly pragmatic compared to Plato’s, emphasizing nature and the real world. Furthermore, Aristotle prioritized an understanding anchored on the rational world while Plato focused on mathematical viewpoints. Therefore, the report constitutes a comparative report on Aristotle’s and Plato’s philosophy.
Introduction
One of the fundamental challenges with comprehending Socrates’ philosophy is that he did not record any concept in his words. Socrates never recorded any of his comments since his motives and beliefs were transcribed by his students. In this vein, his intentions’ context and true nature could need to be critically evaluated for extensive understanding. Plato was one of the adamant students of Socrates who carried his master’s responsibilities and recorded all the information. Accordingly, Plato also happened to be Aristotle’s teacher. Plato and Aristotle constitute two of the most prominent philosophers to have ever existed in history. Plato and Aristotle’s Understanding of Social Phenomena
Both Aristotle and Plato’s philosophy was inclined to evaluating social phenomena. These philosophers intended to unravel emergent rules by which individuals’ society functions. This constitutes one of the viewpoints whereby Aristotle’s and Plato’s philosophy meets. Distinct social phenomena received particular focus within their philosophical concepts. Accordingly, Aristotle’s canon, as solely the delineation of matter anchored on the world’s rule and being, is highly fertile even within contemporary society. These viewpoints reiterate Aristotle’s and Plato’s significant emphasis on solving diverse social issues from a metaphysics angle.
