The Bible is among the most influential book in the world. All texts, just like people, become influential based on what they say or what they are thought to have said. Therefore, a big book like the Bible requires a guideline or a key that provides an understanding of the entire book. The Hebrews Bible is referred to as the Old Testament, or Tenakh in Hebrews has different Jewish scriptures. The first five books in the Hebrew Bible are related to as Torah, and to some Christians, they are referred to as the Law of Moses or the Books of Law (Jiang, 2018). The Hebrew Bible was originally written in the Hebrew language, but it contained some sections written in Semitic and Aramaic languages. Therefore, according to the early Jewish traditions, the Torah was dictated to God by Yahweh, who was the Israelite God. Some hold that Torah came gradually through the Iron Age (c. 1200-587BCE) (Jiang, 2018). The Hebrew Bible contains 24 books in total. Another school of thought insisted that Torah was a compilation of stories written by priests, which were collected and edited by some scribes while in Babylonian exile. However, there are different ways of how people interpret and understand the Hebrew Bible and how it relates to their sexual life. 
The majority of the Christians believe that the Old Testament is a collection of stories that finds its fulfillment in the New Testament. The book tells the source of sin in the Garden of Eden, a chronology of human disobedience and a promise of coming redemption.
