Question 3: Notably, Greece's economy is mixed, comprising numerous sectors. Over the years, Greece has had a reputation for being a high-income country with good Gross domestic output. Just like the other European countries, Greece was among the countries with the leading economies in the world. This as before the advent of the Covid 19 pandemic which affected virtually every country in the world. The economy was significantly affected by the Covid 19 pandemic leading to an upsurge in unemployment and making the poverty rate hit as high as 31%. Currently, the country is recovering well, and the economy to improve. The country’s economy is quite dependent on the service sector, with the agricultural sector only accounting for 3% of the overall economy. When the Covid 19 pandemic struck, the various measures that were put in place to contain it really made it even worse when it came to the classical aspects of the same. However, the country’s economy is still threatened by economic conditions like supply chain delays caused by Russia Ukraine war (OECD, 2023).
Question 4: just like most of the other European countries, Greece is a democratic republic state governed through parliamentary representation. It is a multiparty state. The president is the head of state, while the prime minister is the head of government. Greece is recognized as a free state where its citizens are free to express themselves.
