1-Please characterize and discuss the nature of the “War on Drugs” by citing information presented in the documentary “The House I Live In” and the posted readings and videos. The “War on Drugs” seems to be more complex than simply addressing drug (mis)use. What does the material covered imply about the nature of drug misuse, drug treatment, and drug laws? Why did we continue to wage this “war” when there appears to be so much evidence indicating that the primary focus (reducing drug usage) has failed?
