The response to this question is primarily anchored on the personal experience from either family or friends who have lost use of one sense or the other. Vision loss from whatever the cause, is more devastating to an individual than hearing. I would choose to lose my hearing and use my sense of sight. Loss of vision creates a mirage of problem associated with many daily activities including reading, driving, and recognizing faces of family members and friends. Losing sight ability is an isolating and depressing moments for someone more than hearing ability. Conventionally, most individuals feel the loss of vision would be the worst ailment that could happen to them over hearing loss and other physical condition on the surface of earth.
