The assignment is to discuss your personality in regards to your sense of identity with a reflection of your traits, your characteristics, your thoughts and emotional life, your relationships, your behavior, your attitudes, your friendships and your career choices, as well as other aspects of your life. 

Reflect on how you relate to other people.  Reflect on your educational progress.  Reflect on your career and school choices.  Reflect on your values.  Are there aspects about your personality or identity you do not like or value?  Are there aspects about your personality or identity that others complain about to you?  How do you approach problem solving?  This gives insight into your mental processing and your creativity.  Provide examples.

How does your personality style of relating with others impact your relationships with your family, friends, significant others, partners, children, friends from school and work?  Provide examples.

To fully answer these questions, consider how your personality was influenced by events or the people in your life as discussed in the textbook and our class discussions.  Were you encouraged to take a path for school achievement or career based on what you might consider as environmental reasons or innate influences?  Did you take the path or not?  If so, do you wonder about how it would have gone?  Have you made a difficult decision that turned out right or turned out wrong?  Do you have any un-attempted dreams or goals?  Provide examples.

In depth, please discuss your personality or your sense of identity, and what you understand about how you may have been influenced by socialization from your family or community or culture.  Discuss what you think has consciously influenced your development.  Provide examples.

Homework # 2: Personality Profile Having to observe myself is a very difficult task. Thinking about my personality, I have discovered things about myself that I am not aware of. When at home, I am very close with my parents, but I, as I think of it, am closer with my mother. Yes, it is true that my family and I usually bond with each other, but when I have problems I always go to my mom for help. When I have trouble with my friends, she always gives me advices like when I had a fight with a friend because of a minor disagreement. Furthermore, I am also close with my relatives. When we have family gatherings, I always interact with my cousins, aunts, and uncles. Specifically, I am close with my cousins and become talkative and jolly when with them. Moreover, when I am with my friends, I also become outgoing. I always enjoy their company and would always do fun stuffs with them. Example, when I am with my friends, I usually joke around and do things that I would never think of doing alone. On the other hand, despite being close with them, there are times that we had some fights with each other. Because of my tendency to become irritable, I tend to release my anger and frustration towards them. Thankfully, my friends are very understanding of my attitude. Nevertheless, despite my outgoing personality, I become shy when meeting and interacting with strangers. I am not comfortable being me when alone with new people for the first time. I become nervous of what to say or do when with new people. But, somehow, when my friends are with me, I suddenly become sociable and can easily converse with strangers. With my outgoing personality, I am able to form close relationships with my family and friends. Thinking about it, being shy and getting nervous when with new strangers hinders me to get to know more people and widen my social circle. I realized that whenever I meet new people, it is always them that need to initiate the first act. I was never at ease in being the one to initiate the conversation. Yet, I still prefer being alone more often to give myself some time to relax and unwind from all the noise around ...
