Think about how this type of learning occurs in your own life, as well as developmental theories.

Throughout my academic study of development theories, classical conditioning, operant conditioning, and observational learning have fascinated me. These theoretical frameworks explain how humans learn and behave. Classical conditioning, first described by Ivan Pavlov, shows how stimuli can cause conditioned responses (Skedsmo & Huber, 2022). Subjects learn to ignore all stimuli save the neutral one after repeatedly associating an unconditioned stimulus. According to B.F., Pavlov's canines salivated when a bell rang, showing that simple connections can lead to learned behavior. In Skinner's operant conditioning theory, outcomes drive actions. Reward and punishment determine whether a behavior is repeated or avoided (Carcea & Froemke, 2019). In carefully supervised animal experiments, Skinner established how reward and punishment can change animal behavior.
Albert Bandura's observational learning stresses how people learn through watching others. Modeling and watching others and their results teach new behaviors. Bandura's renowned Bobo doll experiments indicated that children would act violently in ways they saw adults act aggressively, revealing the significant influence of observation on aggressive inclinations (Heberle et al., 2020).
