Understanding how to use theoretical models to effectuate healthcare changes is essential for any healthcare professional. Using these models, he follows a proven and sequential process that significantly increases the accuracy and efficiency of his functions in the provision of care. Nonetheless, these theoretical models could also be used in the improvement of oneself. For instance, I used the Transtheoretical Model to improve my eating habits and have achieved many changes that would have taken me about a year or more had I not relied on this model.
