Disaster is a sudden event, could be a natural calamity or an accident, that greatly affects an individual or community’s capacity to cope. Some may get trauma after this experience as they get emotionally shock. To cope with this disastrous event, psychiatrists offer some treatments to help those affected gain their behavioral and mental health.
Psychiatrists offer treatments such as psychotherapies and psychopharmacology for posttraumatic stress disorder.
