Early to middle adulthood entails a wide range of age groups, which ranges from eighteen to sixty-five years and above. Individuals undergo many physiological, psychological, and behavioral changes at the start and when transcending through this age gap. However, physical change is the most notable since it can be recognized by visual appearance. Besides, there many more developments that happen both on the outside and from within an individual ranging from the realization of self-cognitive perception to the cognitive process of thoughts and roles-taking that an individual chooses to take part (PIVEN, 1996). Sexual and romantic interactions and relationships usually start at adolescent and flourish into more committed and serious relationships as one transcends into early adulthood leading to joint parenthood, cohabitation, and even marriage (Meier & Allen, 2008). At the pick of developing peer relationships both in the middle and early adolescent, transcending from late adolescent to early adulthood is probably the time in an individual's development that is characterized by the highest instances of developing social relationships. Research shows that teenagers acquire romantic and sexual relations not only from dyadic relationships later in their lives but right from their mixed-gender peer groups. Further research has revealed a close linkage between adolescent romantic and sexual relationships and experiences to marriage and cohabitation. Researchers also claim that quality relationship among young adults is perhaps not the trivial types of puppy love since it leads to the development of even more serious and committed relationships in adulthood. Bowlby ((Meier & Allen, 2008)) claims that the attachment model maintains that experiences derived from early relationships, particularly between the infant and the mother, are critically vital in fostering successful interactions and relationships in a child's later life.
