GOAL: The goal of this Applied Assignment is for you to explore the manner in which mental illness is depicted in popular movies.
The applied assignment will involve integrating the information depicted in the movie A Beautiful Mind with that presented in the course texts (as well as information discussed in class lectures, if applicable) and at least one supplemental source of information that you choose to include.
CRITERIA: In your paper, provide a short synopsis of the plot, with a focus on describing the character and the form of mental illness he/she has, and discuss in detail whether or not the character meets the criteria of mental illness described in the text(s).
