Stephen Covey’s book educates people on how to be effective in life. It offers a blueprint of how to achieve success. The book has instilled in me important lessons that I believe are going to impact my life positively. I have learned that private victory comes before public victory. It is important that I learn to love myself first before I can like other people. Loving myself involves understanding myself and how I respond to stimuli in my environment. Therefore, I have learned that I cannot fully achieve interdependence if I do not have a mastery of self.
