Math Discussion 4 Student’s Name Institution Course Date MATH DISCUSSION 4 Presidential elections in the United States are done after every four years. There are two methods that are used to elect a presidential nominee. They are primary elections and caucuses. Primary elections use secret ballots for voting while caucuses use the local gathering of voters who vote at the conclusion of the meeting for a candidate (Burin, 2017). My favorite or most preferable method of voting in the U.S. would be the Electoral College. The Electoral College follows a certain process or procedure. It entails the allocation of a certain number of votes for each state, notwithstanding the obvious factora that influence results. This voting method therefore, does not base its results on the person who has won the popular vote, the location of the candidate, or the manifesto made during campaigns (Burin, 2017).
