Ordinarily, Triple Bottom Line (TBL) is a framework that guides organizations and companies on how they can promote and focus on social and environmental issues. The principles of TBL require an organization to concentrate on people, planet, and profit; the success of the firm can, therefore, be evaluated from its ability to address social, ecological, and economic parameters (Robins, 2006). The framework offered by TBL has made it possible for companies and organizations to develop and implement approaches that are aimed at improving environmental initiatives that would a positive impact on TBL’s elements.
