Employers of an organization are the main element of the success of it. The attitude of motivating the employees to come to the organization each day and work in it helps the organization in keeping up the pace of achieving the milestones. It is important for an organization to create a bridge between the employers and the manager to nourish a comfortable environment at the workplace. However, there are certain trends which affect the effectiveness of the employers. Technology acceleration, psychology, and transparency are some of the major trends affecting talent management practices in an organization (Berger & Berger, 2018).
Technological Acceleration
As Cariss (2017) describes, “Artificial Intelligence (AI) is permeating every industry and every profession. HR is no exception. While AI can take many forms, in 2018, we will see a sharp increase in the uptake of AI-enabled chatbots to match candidates with jobs.” Making the work of the Human Resource easier is one thing, however, replacing the entire job position is another. Although Artificial Intelligence has advanced enough to take over most of the job positions of the employee, an organization must focus on providing job security to its employees. Take a self-driving car for an example where the drivers of the organizations are insecure about their jobs due to the rapid advancement in the technological sector. Soon, our market will be entertaining self-driving cars which will make the work easier for a company, incurring the initial cost, and cutting down the cost in the long term. Such plans change the behavior of the existing employees.
