The most difficult part when looking for sources on the topic for the paper was narrowing down from the many available sources about the human resource as a department. In the library and online there exists a variety of books and journals which all hold information concerning human resource. Narrowing down on these sources was a challenge. The most rewarding source for me was reinventing human resource management by Burke and Cooper. I found this particular source interesting because it seems helpful for students and also those in business. Looking for an angle for the paper depended on the functions of the human resource department. I wondered how the department operates and the roles allocated to it and started looking at various organizations. For any organization to run smoothly (including the military) there is the need for the department. I learned variable lessons while writing from the resources. I got vital information which I believe will be essential to the readers and myself in future. I finally got to understand all the roles of the department and its importance in an organization setting. Given the opportunity to would change a few things during research.
