As a human resource technician in the military, one’s job is to support the military’s human resources/ personnel management system through a variety of functions. One’s duty involves preparing a connection to both civilian and military organizations, monitoring office documents, supervising administrative personnel, and counseling individuals on personal, financial and career matters (Neves, Galvao, & Pereira). As a human resource technician, one needs information to be updated on policies, processes, and issues. Accordingly, this paper notes down what kind of information a human resource technician needs.
The kind of information one needs to be up to date with policies, processes, and issues in the military is the one, which is applies to the administration of a variety of civil service programs, and human resource management such as position control, selection, recruitment, and related functions. One needs to consider internal and external audiences such as the public, customers, and clients, and the kind of information one need to share with others is employee expectations, the technology used, training, and development in the military.
