The company has subsidiaries across the world with a stronger brand portfolio that includes popular products like Powerade, Abbey Well Water, Oasis, Fanta, coke Zero and sprite among others. It is the biggest marketing, distributing and manufacturing company of non-alcoholic beverage drinks and has over 400 brands. On the other hand, Coca-Cola Enterprises that is situated in Edmonton is the domestic bottler that distributes, manufactures, trade markets as well as sales. This essay shall describe the company’s system for quality management and how impactful it is in satisfying the customer needs and product demand.
The Quality Management system
The company’s drinks have diverse packages including plastic bottles, aluminum cans and glass (Coca-Cola, 2010). Since it is the leading global supplier of beverages, it needs its system to have high standards as well as processes to make sure a consistent quality starting from manufacturing, bottling and delivery. To maintain consistency as well as reliability, the company’s system uses Coca-Cola Operating Requirements. The operational requirements provide the firm with integrated quality program that maintains the standards of manufacturing as well as distributing the products. KORE enables the company to have the high quality standards in environmental, health and safety as well as product quality standards.
It is essential that checks remain consistent. The standard bottle has elements that require constant checks whereas in the production line for quality.
