Living in a contaminated environment is always irritating, not to mention an issue that includes the most important aspect of life. Although some of the crises are invisible, they threaten the healthy life of people around the globe. There are various challenges in the reservation of quality water that’s safe for human consumption. Some rivers and lakes are highly polluted by sewage disposal, chemicals, plastics and bacteria making the sources poisonous not only for people but also for plants and animals (Hogg, 2019). The contaminated water leads to health hazards and also affects the growth of plants resulting in deterioration in levels of production which in turn affects economic scales. The entire process affects mankind with insufficient resources leading to living standards due to lack of basic needs. Low water quality results in low levels of oxygen, which is a very important component of air needed for survival. Lastly, the release of nitrogen into water bodies yields the production of nitrates which affect young children by altering their growth and development of the brain. Salinity is also caused by water pollutants whereby escalated factors of this aspect lead to severe droughts. These effects call for interventions and actions in water quality to improve and maintain a better environmental condition. The quality and quantity of water crises involve high spending by the affected population as they attempt to acquire the basic amount of water required for their daily activities. In such incidences the prices of clean and drinking water increase significantly, affecting the less fortunate in society. Supposing that people cannot afford to buy the water due to the poor economy, many lives could be lost. If the suffering goes to extreme lengths, some of the affected populations demonstrate seeking help from the government (Khadka, 2019). Although the authority corresponds positively, the water supplied is not enough for all needs including livestock. Such conditions lead to the death of many animals resulting in a decline in economic activities. Communities depending on animal keeping for livelihood are rendered jobless and their living standards stagnate because they don't have any sources of income. Human beings have also been involved in the low levels of water experienced around the globe through some environmentally unfriendly practices.
