A project on Consumer Concepts
Project management is very imperative especially for those people who are learning to start a business and the improvement of a pre-existing organization (Cobb, 2015). Customer services are also very vital because, without them, it is difficult to have a successful project.
The Project
An example of a project management program that I have managed and introduced is a project on Consumer Concepts. Consumer Concept program is a project that assists organizations to sell, market their products, and produce goods that are geared by the consumers to buy and invest in the businesses. This program also taught employees and employers how they can improve their customer services professionally.
The Mission Statement of the Project
The mission of the program was making sure there is credibility and commitment of the employees so that the values of the company will be practiced and proven through strong morals and ethics from the management and staff. The mission of this project was very important because it assisted employees and consumers who were not aware of some of the customer services that are provided by different organizations. A simple mission statement also ensured customers were not confused by some of the activities that were taking place in the organization. Through this project, consumers would be able to receive better customer services such that they can understand their value.
The Objectives of the project
The main objectives and goals of Consumer Concepts were making customers feel that they were comfortable anytime they were purchasing goods from the company. As an organization, the management must ensure that customers buy goods without feeling like they are forced to buy a certain product. Additionally, the program of Consumer Concepts also trained all the employees on some of the techniques they can use to ensure the information and details of customers are well recorded. This program also educated the staff on the need to have better and improved communication skills. They were also taught how to use different forms of communication like emails, mobile phones, video chats, and Skype among others. Ensuring there is effective communication in the organization makes the management very easy because it is very easy to communicate with other people around the globe.
Customer services are also very important because they ensure an organization can offer quality goods and serves to the consumers. Through customer services, the reputation of an organization is always protected. In this case, the Consumer Concept program assisted and trained all the staff and corporations on how to answer queries and concerns from customers who have bought goods from an organization or those who are considering to buy goods from the organization.
The high-level Task of the organization
The high-level task that was faced with the program was consistency from the staff members, consistency of the training programs and the routine of the project.
