The human resource department of every visionary organization is often tasked with additional roles other than hiring and onboarding of new employees. Among other tasks, motivation and performance management form part of the core functions of the HR department. Performance management is the skillful engagement of the employees to maximize their productivity for the sole purpose of improved outputs (Aguinis, 2019). Coupled with other strategies, employee motivation and positive criticisms are some of the most appropriate strategies in performance management (Aguinis, 2019). Job satisfaction and employee commitment are other familiar terms in the performance management domain area of the HR department because, in one way or the other, employee job involvement is influenced by the two factors. The Walt Disney Company has numerous positive attributes that make it an ideal workplace; organizational culture, diversity, morality, and innovativeness are just but a few of them. In addition, the company has exemplary motivation and performance principles that make it a more suitable and prospective workplace.
In contemporary human resource management, job satisfaction and organizational commitment have become pivotal to the overall success of a company. Job satisfaction is the general feeling of pleasure that an employee acquires from a job experience or as a result of a sense of appreciation from a workplace (Ćulibrk et al., 2018). The pleasurable feeling is influenced by many factors directly or indirectly, internally or externally, and by the virtue of being unquantifiable, it can be complex to establish. Nonetheless, organizations ought to pay attention to it because of its potential impact on performance and overall success. Organizational commitment, on the other hand, is the measure of how devoted an employee is towards the organization they work for (Ćulibrk et al., 2018). Job satisfaction has to do with the employees' relationship with their job, whereas organizational commitment relates employees with the organization they are working for.
