A new company in the market needs to use the best strategy in competing favorably with other companies in the market. The company may use the intellectual property strategies in full realization of its goals and objectives in the market. These intellectual properties include, patents, trademarks and copy rights and can be used as strategies I the following ways.
Patents
A Company which is new in the market should adopt the use of a patent as a strategy in selling in the market. A patent protects the new and original inventions of the idea for a company. The company that needs to do well in the market must make use of the patent in protecting the use of the same invention by another company. This will be a good strategy which will be used to counter competition by other companies in the same market (Cornish at al., 2003). 
Trademarks
A new company in the market should choose to use the trademark as a strategy in succeeding well in the market .This can be used as a strategy in outperforming the existing companies in the market. A trademark protects the businesses logos, words, and design elements of a product relating to a company. The trademark therefore is very essential for a company that is entering the market for the first time since it is protected from other businesses by the way of a trademark.
