I view myself as a person who possesses unique leadership skills including confidence, good communication, and determination. Problems can be successfully solved when goals are set and no goals can be achieved without these major abilities.
One thing I am good at is communicating with people effectively. Communication is essential to solving problems. In order for me to attain desired results, I will communicate the vision to my followers with the aim of solving the problem at hand. I believe words have the power to motivate followers and make them do the unimaginable. Having learned the types of communication, including one-one and full-staff conversation, I will be in a position to set goals comfortably and guide followers to achieve the desired goals.
Confidence is another leadership ability I possess that I believe is instrumental towards helping people with problems. As informed by Northouse (2018), when one is confident, the feel positive about themselves and their ability to be successful. When it comes to solving problems I believe and feel assured that confidence is essential. Confidence will help in giving directions to the people on how they should act. I will set a clear vision that the people will understand and work together to achieve a common goal. I am not overconfident since as a leader this can ruin the set plans. The act of being aware and understanding the problem builds great confidence in me. This guides me in giving instructions to people on how to work towards a set goal.
I am also determined and I believe this is important when it comes to helping people. Deciding to help people means one has taken the role to be a leader. I am a person who never gives up when faced with challenges and I will thus be able to help people by being in charge and giving them guidance. Therefore, I am comfortable enough to provide directions to others in order to help them solve problems.
