people that inspire me are Larry Page CEO of google and Walt Disney because they involve their employees in decision making and ideas which builds trust and loyalty. I don't have much experience as a leader yet. The most I've don't was be in charge of a group assignment for classes when I do well in. But at a physical therapist assistant, due to the knowledge I've gained over 10 years while working for a rehab facility, I do have a lot of coworkers who come to me for advice. A lot of coworkers always tell me I should be a director or manager because I'm approachable and knowledgeable. I don't know if this will help with the essay but its some info. feel free to add whatever you like to it. I don't mine.

Is leadership natural or learned? This is a question that has crossed the minds of many people, myself included. The reason why I have always wondered about leadership is that when I was younger, I did not possess most of the leadership traits. I was not a leader in any projects or activities in my younger years as a student. However, in my later years as a student, I was often selected to lead group assignments, thanks to my exemplary performance in classes. I discovered through such experiences that I could make a great leader. Also, I have noticed that most of my co-workers seek advice from me on different issues and they always say I am knowledgeable and approachable. I have, as a result, been on a learning trajectory to improve my leadership skills because I believe leadership can be learned.
In my journey of learning how to be a leader, two great leaders have been my source of inspiration because I admire their leadership characteristics. The first one is Larry Page, co-founder of Google and former CEO of Google’s parent company, Alphabet. The second one is Bob Iger, former CEO of Walt Disney. Both leaders have always involved their employees while making decisions. Larry Page not only appreciated being challenged by employees but also loved engaging them in collaborative conversations (Ward, 2017). Similarly, Bob Iger’s leadership involved giving his employees access to his decision –making and having faith in their abilities and ideas (Denning, 2019). Collaborating with employees, believing in them, and seeking out their ideas are some of the leadership characteristics that I want to possess as a leader.
The two leaders mentioned above have some important leadership traits that I admire. Leadership traits refer to the personal qualities that make a leader (Nichols, 2016). Two key qualities make Larry Page a good leader. One, he is a good communicator. He not only shares his ideas with employees but also listens to employees’ ideas (Ward, 2017).
