What are the key aspects of empowerment that foster an empowerment climate, and why is an empowerment climate important? * Some of the key aspects that foster an empowerment climate include the aim of making employees better and the will to give people self-sufficient skills (Greenberg, 2011). Empowerment climates are important as they enhance the growth of individuals in different environments. 2. Identify at least three social influence techniques used to influence others in organizations, and identify the context in which they are used. * One of the techniques used is Reciprocation. This happens contextually in organizations when people return favors or compliments to make the other people live better lives. * The other technique is social proof, where people get psychologically accustomed to acting correctly in their organizational context. * The other technique is fostering commitment and consistency to the people. This technique aims at ensuring that the people act in virtuous ways. 3. Explain the characteristics of individuals that lead to aggressive behavior in the workplace. * Aggressive behavior in the workplace puts the employees at risk, destroys the reputation of the company in addition to slowing down the productivity. There is erosion of morale and trust even in cases where the aggression is not deliberate. Employers have to monitor the behavior of their employees keenly so that they can prevent the development of aggression. Different characteristics such as spreading rumors, agitating people through irritable actions such as slapping people, or even abusing people verbally might lead to the recipients of these actions to display aggression in their workplace. 4.
