Public administration plays an important role in the field of orderly human behavior. Organizations in the private sector, strive to ensure that individual needs are met through the provision of financial stability. However, to do so, certain key elements have to be considered. The six most important elements of public administration include organizational theory, governance, public needs, public policies, social change and inter-governmental relationships (Norwich University, 2018). These elements are important to public administrators since they are used as resources for enacting laws meant to protect the people.
The differences between business and public administration can be considered in a legal framework, the environment, and legislative and political supremacy (Marume, Jubenkanda & Namusi, 2014). The operations of public administration are rigid since it is governed by a legal framework that is surrounded by regulations, rules, and laws. However, the operations of business administration are more flexible since it is free from such limits.
