Managing Conflict in Workplace
Conflict often occurs in the workplace when we are asked to meet short deadlines or have to collaborate with multiple employees to accomplish a particular task. Workplace conflicts can occur between two employees or supervisors and among the entire team. In either form, it is not favorable for both employees and management, and thus managing conflicts in the workplace become a necessity (Gramberg, 2006).
When a conflict arises, we should never avoid or ignore it, because that is not the solution to any problem. Instead, we should face it and try to resolve it as soon as possible. And if we ignore it, tension will definitely build with time, and the conflict may get worse. It is important to sit with our colleagues or boss and discuss the matter. Open discussions
