ASSIGNMENT 3
Question 1
The Product-process Matrix was introduced by Robert Hayes and Steven Wheelwright in the Harvard Business Review in 1979 (Jacobs & Chase, 2011). The Product-process matrix has positive implications on the competition situation because this methodology assists organizations to decide on the most efficient and effective method of production that can be used in a competitive situation. The method of production is based on the number of goods that are supposed to be produced in a certain situation and the probable changes that can be made on the goods and the production process.

Additionally, if there will be an increase in the demand for the product, then it expected that the product life is expected to have a greater margin of more than two and a half years. This is a good deal. If the plan is not possible it is good to stick with the old equipment.
