The Takarazuka trains young unmarried Japanese girls in performing arts and for many of the performers, the revue are an opportunity to launch and maintain their stage career. In the Japanese theater tradition, the Takarazuka Music School one of the most remarkable as it includes female performers in females or male roles (Berlin, 1991). Takarazuka has been in the forefront training young female performers in Japan, some who have gone to appear in television.
