The Takarazuka trains young unmarried Japanese girls in performing arts and for many of the performers, the revue are an opportunity to launch and maintain their stage career. In the Japanese theater tradition, the Takarazuka Music School one of the most remarkable as it includes female performers in females or male roles (Berlin, 1991). Takarazuka has been in the forefront training young female performers in Japan, some who have gone to appear in television. Even though, the Takarazuka audience tends to be young and female the perfumers represent idealism on female and male beauty where men are depicted as, beautiful, strong and virile (Berlin, 1991). The Takarazuka troupes have also been inspired by western material and performed outside Japan. Additionally, they have addressed the issues of romance, and as they focus on popular tunes, and the theme of love where the performer
