A work breakdown structure refers to a concept of work or works that need to be undertaken within a specified project. It`s an important tool that assists to view projects.WBS has several roles in a given company. It develops a platform over which a company or organization can coordinate projects. In addition, it shows the amount of work done, the time involved, and the cost of material and labor (Stevens, 2002).
Work project provides an operative plan through which planning steps can be done. For instance, there are all basics of costing and management accounting. The major ones are cost planning, cost allocation, cost centers and project analysis and appraisal.
