Yearning and hoping for peace in my country, Yemen, has been a daily prayer. It has been more than difficult and despicable to quantify the scars the Yemen civil war has caused us. The effects would be felt globally due to concerns on global security but what the Yemen citizens and non-citizens have experienced is worse. The battles between the secessionist fighters and government forces has left many injured, killed and others nursing psychological effects. The Houthis who are ruling the country have manned both the ground and air bases making aid to the war victims difficult. We face acute starvation due to lack of food, medical supplies and water. The country is experiencing the worst humanitarian crisis ever....
