In the traditional-care scenario, it is apparent that Kalia has effective management skills as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the transitional care organization. However, he has poor leadership skills that require him to be authoritative and even churn the subordinates towards the achievement of set objectives (Northouse, 2018). Arguably, Kalia ought to utilize both affiliative and authoritative leadership styles to overcome all the obstacles towards the realization of the set vision. As a result, it would be possible to mobilize and have control over the employees.
Besides, it would be imperative for the chief executive officer to define the vision of the organization to the employees. In such a case, Kalia would organize frequent meetings to communicate the most effective strategies of realizing the set objectives.
