Essay Sample Content Preview:
THE THEME OF DEATH IN SHAKESPEARE'S ROMEO AND JULIET William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet is one of the most popular novel/play in the world. It may be tragic but it is an example of one great love. It's when from the moment you met the person, you already know you can't love another as much as you love her/him. And she/he is worth dying for. Because even though you still alive, if you can't be with the person you love the most, sooner or later your heart and soul will die. And the pain you feel will pass. In reality, death surrounds us, it's inevitable. That is why it is often used by a writer as a theme for their novel. Some writers do this to seize the heart of its reader. Sometimes it implies tragedy like what Shakespeare did with Romeo and Juliet. In Romeo and Juliet love become a tragedy, and tragedy becomes death. The theme makes its reader hopeless. It first started as love at first sight. Then when their feud family found out it becomes forbidden. Which result in the death of both main characters. They kill their own selves. "I love you like the stars above, I'll love you till I die....
