Students’ own Learning experience and Excellence
Human beings are in constant desire to improve themselves holistically to live good, fulfilling, and satisfying lives. Part of this development so desired included the ability to pursue education and excel at it while also developing as a person in all other aspects of life. People seek these goals now more than ever for any reasons. Among them is globalization which has turned the world into one global village that allows ease of movement of labor hence increased competition for opportunities. School is widely considered to be the best place for young people to achieve most of these adored educational and personal developments. Some systems work well to help the students learning within them to attain significant personal and academic growth while others, hindered by numerous impediments, do not encourage excellence. Ultimately, the learners master the art of interacting with peers tutors at a similar platform and get ideas from both the colleagues and the teacher.
The involvement of students in the learning practice enables them to explore the possibilities of out of class learning. At school levels, learning mostly happens within classrooms. The activities that are undertaken out of the school always come off as more interactive, authentic, and are hands-on rather than just purely theoretical. These aspects are crucial in building on the information learned in class (Howell, 2017). While learning is about personal and academic development, society further has increased requirements to interpersonal, communication, and other forms of life skills, as well as a high degree of self-awareness. These skills can promptly be learned when students are engaged in their learning process, and the ...
