As a human resource professional, it is essential to keep and maintain a network of interactions with other workers, managers, leaders and experts in different areas within and outside the firm. The three behavioral competencies of an interpersonal cluster are relationship management, communication, and global and cultural effectiveness; these all are critical in examining the behaviors, characteristics and the essential knowledge that is critical for professionals in the human resource field and enable them to carry out both interpersonal as well as collaborative aspects of their activities.
Strengths
As a human resource professional in my former company where I worked for four years, I was able to maintain a good and effective relationship with other human resource employees and organizations stakeholders, and this made it efficient for me to execute my roles and responsibilities efficiently. A good relationship with other workers made it possible to record success both at the organizational and individual level, for instance, I was able to exercise positive employee supervision, and this helped in increasing sales in the organization and workers attained rewards and equal opportunities. Relationship management cluster was determined as a strength because of the ability to develop and maintain a network of professionals from different fields, which made it possible to create more opportunities at the personal and organizational levels (Society for Human Resource Management, 2020).
