Option 2: How does Bridal “imagine” herself as an object to be seen (consider the mirror-gazing episode in scene #10)? In scene #14, why does Bridal decide to draw a portrait of herself? Is the portrait a faithful rendition of the real Bridal at the moment as she does the self-portrait? Why or why not?

Spring Seasons in the Peony Pavilion
The Peony Pavilion, also known as the Return of Soul at the Peony Pavilion, is a romantic tale about, Liu Meng and Du Liniang. The novel was composed by Tang Xianzu in 1598. The plot of the novel was based on the short story, Du Liniang Revives for Love. The narration centers on the love story between the two main characters, and how love overcomes all challenges, including, time, space, life, and death to become a reality.
