On the temperament test, the pit bull does not do badly. In regards to how many times a kid can provoke a dog by poking their finger in the eyes of a dog; the most tolerant dog breed was the Golden Retriever. The bread that was second most tolerant was the indeed the pit bull. Further, the jaws of the pit bull are created in such a way that they do not lock, moreover, the pit bull does not have the most powerful bite of all dog breads, the one that takes the honors in this category is the Rottweiler. The pit bull is not a naturally aggressive bread, in fact its puppies prefer the company of humans more than they do their mothers, which they do two weeks before all other breads.
