Yes, the story is believable. My reason for making this assertion emanates from the fact that the author has utilized imagery as a stylistic device of his writing. For instance, the author, Stephen King describes how a group of men is sitting outside the convenience store. Arguably, the author’s description of what was happening around the convenience store makes the story authentic. For example, a young boy is seen running towards the store feeling afraid of the snowstorm that was blowing and the fact that he had come to collect a few cans of beer from the store for his father.
