It refers to the capability of a person to customize the news reaching them in a user-friendly interface. The criteria for filtering the information with the Daily Me would vary according to the demography, interests, time, and domain of expertise. Any other additional information from the news outlet would be discarded and only appear when deemed necessary. According to Negroponte, technologies driven by algorithms are the driving forces towards the concept of the Daily Me (Negroponte et al., 1995).
